MENTOLITY

If I don't say what I mean then I don't mean what I say. To say or not to say that is the question!!

BREAKING DOWN THE GENDER WALLS

A friend once ranted how difficult her marketing job was to get work into her firm from the banks.

She was sometimes dissapointed at the staff who did not know that she sometimes in her words had to jual T*t*k and P**ky (not literally) just to put food on everybodies table.

She was a pretty lady so bankers did not took her seriously as a professional and used to flirt with her. So she had to use that to her advantage and flirt back but nothing serious that couldn’t be done in the Branch Manager’s office in full view of the bank staff.

But I was thinking how different it would be for a man to do business (only sometimes one does not feel it); teh tarik sessions, golf trips, karaoke and sometimes one gets the more risque request...

Not so different after all actually.

EAT THAT FROG!

"If the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long"- Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog!

OF SEX AND LOVE (OR IS IT THE OTHER WAY AROUND)

Love always searches for expression. It is all the same whatever that love-connection maybe.

Even the love of God should culminate in what shall I say... "the climactic finish". The finish where one can say in the face of his lover, "I can die happy" or "I can die with a smile on my face".

Tony Robbins says what creates the feeling of love is oxytocin, a hormone. It's what God put in mothers to stop them from retribution to their young for all the pain of child birth. Oxytocin connects the mother to the a child having what we sometimes say as having a face only a mother can love. God help you if that oxytocin runs out. But too scientific for my liking.

So what is that climactic finish the we so search for, the orgasmic end? The need to be unique yet connected. The winner in the great spermactic swim of life.

I admire those who have the fullest conviction in their relationship to God (and for some, whomsoever they might call that God to be; whether Allah, some intermediary or mother nature.) Or for some their search of the proverbial God; Riches, Power and yes even Women (Harta, Takhta dan Wanita) Yups, I won't discount you Robert Pattinson chasers and who's that twink?. Thank you.

Sex is just part of the expression and satisfaction in life (remember the book the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, where they have that mother nature group sex thing...). Whatever you deem "sex" that sex, that satisfaction, to be.

Am still soul searching for the climactic expression of life. The search continues.

The Mindbender has spoken.

HELL ON EARTH

I sometimes play by the cliff where just over the edge is hellfire.

Then I think of Search/M Nasir’s song “sambutlah tanganku ku kawan aku takut tenggelam”. (Catch my hand my friend I am afraid of drowning).

But having said that… I play by the conceptual hell, but I question its very existence.

I believe in Heaven and Hell on earth. What we make our life to be. What counts.

Sambutlah tanganku kawan aku takut tenggelam.

ON RISKS- Passion Power and Prejudice

Geoff Burchill quoted in his book PASSION POWER AND PREJUDICE Christopher Gleeson's 'A Canopy of Stars':

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to another person is to risk involvement.
To expose your feelings is to risk being true to yourself.
To place your dreams and ideas before the crowd is to risk rejection.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.

But risks must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing does nothing.
This person can avoid sufering and sorrow, but canot learn, feel, change, grow, love or really live.
He is chained to his certitude. He is a slave. He has forfeited freedom.
A person who risks is free.

Master Planner Geoff Burchill has had a hand in many of the landmark development at the Gold Coast. He pulls no punches and traces history and foreshadows problems ahead for the massive city.

Geoff says "I have no regrets. I could not have done it differently". See you on the 25th Gramps... safe journey.
